- Understand the organization and intent of the ADHA policies and Code of Ethics and ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.
- Learn the sources available for deepening the understanding and practice of dental ethics.
- Recognize every patient's right to autonomy and confidentiality.
- Review the rules for "doing no harm" and for "doing good".
- Review the rules for truthfulness and fair treatment of patients.
- Learn the General Standards for dental professionals, including the rules for disclosure.
This course is not accepted for Florida Dental Labs, Indiana, New York or Oklahoma ethics requirements.
